ACCOUNTANT

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts and annual reports.
• Ensure accurate and smooth month-end closing of the subsidiaries under stringent deadline.
• Involved in group financial consolidation, reporting and analysis
• To administer annual budget and forecast activities, coordinate and support local and foreign subsidiaries in all finance related matter.
• Assist in the review and formulation of financial and accounting policies, procedures and internal controls. Ensure compliance of corporate policies and procedures.
• Management reporting including Cashflow planning.
• Ensure compliance with the latest accounting standards and practices
• Liaise with the auditors and tax agents for year-end audit and compliance.
• Participate in projects undertaken by the department
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Accountancy, ACCA equivalent, CPA Singapore with a minimum of 3-5 years working experience in MNC and with some exposure in auditing.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting Software
• Sound knowledge of Financial accounting standards, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
